Bee Cave businesses are booming due to the growth that the Hill Country Galleria, the Shops at the Galleria, and several new residential developments have brought.
Last week, one of Austin Tenant Advisors clients, Radiant RFID, moved in to their new space at the business offices at the Hill Country Galleria and we were lucky enough to be invited to their grand opening event last Thursday. They went all out with tequila tastings in all the demo rooms, a live band, and yummy food from Iron Cactus. We had a fantastic time and learned about their uber cool technology.
I decided to do a Client Spotlight blog post just to tell my followers and friends more about what Radiant RFID does—‘cause it’s some pretty cool stuff. Radiant RFID specializes in inventory management helping the FBI track DNA samples and also help in emergency evacuation situations. But there are endless ways that their technology can be used.
For emergency evacuation, Radiant’s solution provides the ability to assess evacuation status and respond quickly. As people and pets are moved to safety, they will be issued an RFID bracelet. When transported, relocated or upon entering a shelter their location is passively updated and a printed manifest is provided to the shelter host. Their solution will expedite the movement of people, increase security, allocate shelter space and help families find loved ones. Cool stuff huh?
They also showed us a demo of other ways their technology could be used and used an example of a family of 10 taking a vacation on a cruise ship. Here’s how the demo went…
- Everyone in the family gets a wristband at the beginning of the vacation
- During vacation, if you are looking for one of your 10 family members, simply scan your wristband at a nearby RFID kiosk
- The application and wristband will tell you where everyone in your family is on the cruise ship and will also give directions on the quickest route to meet up with them!
