Some of Austin’s tech companies are now lauded as some of the nation’s best workplaces in the recent Fortune Magazine and The Great Place to Work Institute study. In the report which used worker surveys, education software developer AcademicWorks ranked 1st based on the opportunities, benefits and training given to workers under these firms. Aside from AcademicWorks, Austin companies such as Square Root and BP3 Global Inc were also highlighted as some of the best places to work in the country. Aside from these Austin companies, North Canton’s Squirrels LLC and Intertech Inc were included in the top five rankings.
