Austin’s tallest building is currently in the works by two local developers of Sutton Co. The developers are proposing a $500 million mixed-use building in the Waller Creek area of downtown Austin.
The building would house offices, condos, hotel rooms, as well as shops and restaurants. The Waller Center project would be situated on 3 acres near East Cesar Chavez and Red River streets.
If the project plans are approved by the city, the building would take the position as Austin’s tallest skyscraper.
