Last October 5 to 9, the Austin Startup Week was being held. Aside from enjoying free food and drinks, the event also offered fresh ideas and inspiration to startup owners and wannabes. Here are some of the noteworthy sessions that took place.
For the “Challenges, Lessons Learned, and Good Practices in Offshore Development”, Chad Perry and Sebastian Velez talked about the pros and cons of outsourcing developers. Meanwhile, Utz Baldwin of Plum discussed the connected home during “The Thrill and Agony of Hardware… A Startup Story”. Tips on acquiring the next round of funds was discussed during CTAN’s Entrepreneurs Workshop.
