During the webcast with economic developers in Texas held last June 10, Governor Greg Abbott expressed his intention to continue Rick Perry’s vision: to attract and convince investors and jobseekers to come to Texas.
In order to fulfill this goal, the Lone Star state offers up to $4 billion tax-relief and 25% off in state business franchise tax. Corporate and individual income taxes were also eradicated on top of the free property taxes.
Abbott stressed that Texas is investing on the improvement of its transportation infrastructure. He also mentioned that the state has education program to maintain a brilliant workforce.
