Austin Community College students may find their campus bigger as its officials confirmed that they will build a career-technical center east of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. ACC’s new center would boost the ACC’s educational offerings for automotive technology, construction technology, welding, HVAC and jewelry production. According to reports, the 124.1-acre site costs around $10.5 million and the deal was made by CBRE Group for the ACC. It is uncertain as to when the development of the site will begin or who its seller is, but the officials of ACC stress that the new center would boost Southeast Austin’s community.
