ADURO’s Spin on the Activity-Based Workspace

Great article about how Washington based company, ADURO has created what they call Coaching Pods to encourage more employee collaboration, productivity, and activity inside the workspace.  The Pods on wheels have sound proofing on the inside and whiteboards on the outside, so an employee can create ideas one minute and make a private phone call the next.  Also their new workspace design is flexible in a way that allows a space to be used as a conference room, then be converted to private pods, then be used as a play area.  Employees stay active between calls doing movements such as push ups, jumps, or wall sits.  Check out the video below and press release.
