Why you almost always overlook the best candidate for your open job

aajobWhen an employee resigns from his or her post, the immediate action is to inform the Human Resources Department so that they can find candidates for the job. As the resumes file up, you begin to feel that you are overworked and understaffed.

Due to the pressure that you are in, you tend to choose the closest job description that fits the job vacancy. There is no such thing as a perfect resume. It can be a poor resume but a great candidate or vice-versa.

Remember that proper questions in a job interview can identify the much more qualified individual.
