Apple Computer currently have over 4,515 employees in Austin, Tx and they continue to grow at an unbelievable rate! Regardless of them building a brand new campus on Parmer lane they can’t seem to lease or buy enough office space to accommodate their growth. They also purchased Riata Crossing North, a 350,000 sf building which is located near their new Parmer campus.
Recently they leased 215,000 sf at Capital Ridge, a brand new class A office located at 320 S Capital of Texas Hwy. This is a 7 story office building built by Riverside Resources.
Obviously Apple is getting a lot of tax incentives from the city of Austin! For adding 3,600 employees they will receive over $35,000,000.
