Veterans have a lot of benefits if they move to Austin according to a recent study by WalletHub. The finance company studied 100 of the US’ most populated cities and determined which city provides huge benefits for their veterance.
In terms of Austin’s rankings, WalletHub indicated the following
– On Military skill-related jobs – 39th
– Cost of living for Veterans – 13th
– Job growth – 1st
– Educational opportunities for veterans – 8th
– Veterans below the poverty line – 20th
– Homeless veteran population – 47th
– Cheaper housing – 55th
– Crime rate – 41st
Austin also has several companies helping veterans for employment and other opportunities to help them have productive lives in the city.
