Jessica Corna was appointed as Injured Employee Public Counsel by Governor Rick Perry. This update was released by the Governor’s office
The responsibility of Corna is to help the injured employees through the process of workers’ compensation. She will also be an advocate on behalf of the employees and is tasked to oversee the ombudsman program.
Corna finished her law and bachelor’s degree at Indiana University. She is the current assistant director at Texas Department of Insurance for governmental relations. She holds memberships for the following organizations: Junior League of Austin, State Bar of Texas and Austin Young Lawyers Association.
