Founded in 2008, Austin based software startup Spredfast raises a Series C round of financing worth $18 million to help take them to the next level. Since inception the company has raised over $33 million. Austin Ventures, Interwest Partners, and OpenView Venture Partners were among the primary investors.
Spredfast creates software that helps companies manage social media campaigns and currently has over 100 employees. Revenue for 2012 was reported to have grown by 400%
The Austin startup market continues to be hot as eager investors are waiting on the sidelines to invest their money into the next big thing.
