Fringe Benefit Group is a health insurance provider from the city of Austin. It specializes on the benefits for the part-time and hourly-paid workers. The company recently acquired the Employer Plan Services Inc. of Houston.
Although the terms and conditions of the acquisition was not disclosed, this will allow Fringe Benefit Group to be able to handle claim payments from 150,000 persons in the United States without the use of a third party contractor.
Travis West, CEO of Fringe Benefit Group, said that the acquisition will definitely improve the level of customer service because they can now claim payments internally.
