Austin biotech firm seeks $15M on Wall Street to continue fight against cancer

Cancer research is yet again in Austin’s discussion forums as Vermillion Inc is trying its best to get funding for its cancer test program and improve their profile. The company is well-known for its diagnostic services for anyone with ovarian cancer and with its new venture, it is said that the company needs at least $15 million to bolster its program. Recently, the company has been granted a financial grant from the state’s major health institute to boost its efforts for cancer prevention.
