One of Austin’s top beer breweries, Austin Beerworks, is now gearing up on their most ambitious plan yet: a $4 million expansion project that would expand the brewery’s production area. The company is currently working on gaining permits in getting a 16,000 square foot warehouse close to the brewery’s current location. Austin Beerworks’ announcement is in light of Oskar Blues of Denver’s announcement that it is now expanding its operations with their $6.5 million production facility close to Austin Beerworks’ facility. Austin Beerworks’ expansion would also include the opening of a tasting room which is open seven days a week for those who wish to taste the company’s latest works.
