RTX, one of the leading gaming industry conferences created by Austin digital medial co Rooster Teeth, is scheduled for July 4th-6th at the Austin Convention Center. So far it is on pace to attract over 30,000 attendees! Compare that to 2011 when it drew only 500 people.
Part of the reason for their success according to Barbara Dunkelman is that they give their participants a great networking experience. They create many opportunities for engagement which means even smaller companies don’t feel left out.
If RTX hits it’s target of attendees it will compete with South by Southwest Interactive attendance which had more than 32,000 visitors this year.
