Austin health care software maker raises $5.7M fundingThe medical industry in Austin is going to get a new upgrade as software maker RxWiki has recently acquired $5.7 million of the planned $6 million Series A financing program for their expansion. RxWiki hopes to add new services to its current software and also expand its business, opening new jobs for workers. The software helps patients to get in touch with pharmacists easily and the company is currently employing 44 workers. According to reports, the software is catering to 3,430 pharmacies and 8,600 pharmacists then connects them with almost 100,000 patients daily. It is expected that the financing of RxWiki will aid the improvement of the health care sector, especially the impact of pharmacies.
