Austin will be hosting the small business festival on May 2 to 6 this year alongside the celebration of the National Small Business Week. This week is designed to open opportunities for collaboration and exchange for entrepreneurs and business owners and it would include lectures and workshops for these small owners. At least 70 speakers are expected to conduct lectures on small business financing and other related topics small business owners need to know. Presentations would even be suitable for established businesses. Interactive workshops are also a highlight of the event, showcasing speakers like Brett Hurt of Bazaarvoice and entrepreneurs Jim Cathcart and Gary Hoover.
