Austin May Change its Procedure for Granting Economic Incentives to Corporations

In an effort to avoid killing negotiations with companies who are considering opening up an Austin office in return for economic incentives, the Austin City Council is considering loosening up their requirements.  While it’s important that the city have guidelines for corporations to follow to ensure the Austin economy will benefit, it must do so in a way that will entice more companies & jobs to Austin, not deter them.
