According to known financial website WalletHub, Austin ranked third on its “Best cities to find a job” survey, rising 3 places from their rank in 2014. The survey used data coming from the employment statistics of each city, as well as their quality of life and starting salary. The survey indicated that Austin’s growing population and increasing businesses starting in the area had improved its employment capacity, improving their way of life dramatically. Aside from Austin, Plano and Irvine were the only two Texas cities that has gotten a slot in the top four of the survey with Plano ranking 1st and Irvine at rank 4.
