According to a report by Dice.com, Austin ranks as the No. 3 city for technology job growth. In 2013, the number of advertisted tech jobs grew over 16 percent when compared to last year.
St. Louis took the top position with 25 percent growth in available technology jobs, and Charlotte, N.C. had 22 percent growth. Other high-growth cities included Phoenix and Detroit, which grew to over 10% this year.
When looking at the total of available tech jobs per city, New York took the top position with 8,829 available tech jobs, and was followed by Silicon Valley with 5,123 available tech jobs.
