According to the report that has been published by the Forbes’ website, Austin is one of the top job markets across the country. The report was based on the Labor Market 150 research conducted by CareerBuilder and Economic Modeling Specialists Intl. Every quarter, the 150 largest metro areas were ranked according to employment and unemployment rates, job growth as well as the probability of getting high-paying jobs.
The highest rank went to Provo, Utah with 3% unemployment rate. Houston came in second as it recorded a 4.5% unemployment rate. Austin landed on the 6th spot with 3.6% unemployment rate.
