What now lies Taco Cabana in South Austin located at 211 S Lamar Blvd Austin, tx will soon be 9,000 sf of retail space and a 175 unit luxury apartment project. Slated to begin construction this summer the plan is to construct a 200,000 sf 96 foot building that will be nine stories tall. The new building will be ready for occupancy in Q4 2014 or Q1 2015. This area is ripe for redevelopment as it sits adjacent to the Lady Bird Lake Trail and is a popular destination for a lot of local residents.
