Austin retains ranking as No. 1 economy in the U.S.

The November Business Journals On Number Report is out and Austin, Tx remains as having the best economy in the U.S.  Once again job growth is the main reason why we are doing so well.  Not only are small companies adding jobs.  Even larger companies such as IBM and Ebay have recently announced to increase hiring throughout the Austin metro region.

Austin has led job creation in the U.S. over the last 5 years and since 2008 has increased the number of private industry jobs by 11.8%!  Houston comes in 2nd at 9%.  Other than that no other city even comes close.
