Austin-based startup Compare Metrics has raised $3.5 million in funding from investors that includes Austin Ventures. Founded in 2012, the company develops a software platform that allows websites to customize product content for online shoppers.
Compare Metrics aims to create a better customer experience by intelligently targeting content to shoppers based on data that includes what they’ve bought in the past, how they search, and how they make purchases. So far Compare Metrics has signed 6 major retailers to its software platform. These retailers focus on fashion, home goods and beauty products.
The company has raised a total of $4.2 million since 2012.
