The recent AlphaLab Gear National Hardware Cup was held at Pittsburgh on Thursday. The company that emerged victorious came from the city of Austin. Curb Inc. is an energy management startup company that developed the software of an energy monitoring product that can be used at home. The product itself monitors all household appliances by means of the sensors attached on the breaker box.
Curb Inc. started its operations on May 2012. The co-founders of the company are Erik Norwood, company CEO, together with JC Shore, the CEO of Circular Energy LP. Curb Inc. is currently operating with seven employees.
