Austin unemployment at lowest level since 2007; job market tightensThe unemployment rate in the city of Austin has dropped down tremendously to 3.3% as of March 2015. This is the lowest that it has reached since the month of May 2007, as per the data gathered by the Texas Workforce Commission.

The individuals that are employed on February 2015 reached 1,013,800. That number increased to 1,014,500 on March 2015. This means that the unemployed individuals decreased from 36,000 for the month of February 2015 to just 34,200 on March 2015.

And for the state of Texas, the unemployment rate is at 4.2% coming from 4.3% on the previous months.
