The Fourth of July celebration of Austin this 2014 will not be held on its usual venue due to some construction work. From the Auditorium Shores, the Austin Symphony Orchestra transferred the venue of the event to Austin360 Amphitheater. The public is invited to witness the concert and fireworks display for free on the new venue that can accommodate up to 14,000 people.
The gates will be opened to the public starting at 4:00 pm. The parking is free and families can camp on the site.
The on-going construction on Auditorium Shores is scheduled to be done in 2015.
