Aspiring tenants to Colorado Tower would find themselves heartbroken as the Tower’s development operator Cousins Properties announced that all office slots are taken within the 18-month period it was constructed.
Colorado Tower became a hot property for many businesses due to Austin’s growing economic strength and popularity. According to the Tower’s leasing team – JLL – 60% of those who gotten slots in the Tower are not Austin locals like Parsley Energy from Midland and Australian-developed Atlassian.
It is said that Cousin’s records for top-of-the-line construction quality and service made the sales better for the Tower and it is said that it is the key to its success in Austin.
It’s just too bad that most business were not really Austin-based businesses. Still a win for Austin and the community because these business will definitely open new job opportunities to Austinites.
