Baby Boomers & Gen X Are the Real Entrepreneurial Risk Takers

It’s official!  Baby Boomers and Generation X take more entrepreneurial risks than Millennials.  Baby Boomers and Gen X are considered to be between the ages of 30 to 49 and Millenials are those between 18 and 29.  Monster.com and Millennial Branding conducted the survey of 2,828 people that resulted in 45% of Boomers and 41% of Gen Xers have more entrepreneurial spirit than Millenials who came in at 33%.

Potential reasons why Boomers and Gen Xers have more confidence in taking risks:

  • More experience
  • More networked
  • Have more money
  • Have less debt
  • Easier to get hired
