The “Beaver Workshop” office space in Beijing showcases a very unique office space for one of the country’s film and media outfits. The designers – MAT Office – had to make sure the office space can be larger in terms of how much space can be used and cater to the various sections needed in the industry. Several areas were placed in a multi-opening box setup that would connect employees and guests to the atrium, meeting rooms, rehearsal rooms and logistics spaces. The designing firm also created an environment that would induce employee creativity. Natural lighting, hanging plants and glass was also incorporated in the designs for more flexibility.
