Reports regarding Bigcommerce’s first company acquisition have been circulating these past few days. Although there has been no official announcement yet, reports claimed that the Austin-based company is currently on the works to publicize its acquisition of Zing which is also an e-commerce platform provider located in Austin.
Bigcommmerce was established in 2004 and had its headquarters in Austin in May 2009. Before 2014 ended, Bigcommerce was able to complete a $55 million worth of funds. On the other hand, Zing started its operation in 2012. Its main goal is to cater needs of companies for online and offline operations.
