Gazzang Inc. is a cloud security software company based in Austin that was recently acquired by California-based company.
Cloudera Inc. has taken Gazzang for an undisclosed settlement. Gazzang will now be Cloudera’s extension in Austin for security excellence. Larry Warnock, CEO of Gazzang was appointed as vice president for Cloudera’s security strategy.
The Cloudera Inc. has recruited 600 workers prior to the acquisition of Gazzang, as per the announcement of the company spokesperson.
Gazzang Inc. was founded in the year 2008 as Critotech Inc. It develops security diagnostics and solutions. The company has a total of just 41 employees.
