The latest startup based in California, Buddytruk Inc., will be expanding its services in the Austin area. It started its operations on August 2014. The company offers rent a truck service with driver much more like the Lyft Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc.
This is a mobile application that is forecasted to earn $40 per hour on the rental of a truck and its driver. The drivers will earn around 60% of the total earnings. Their Austin expansion will start with 10 drivers as per Ryan Salmons, chief technology officer and co-founder.
Buddytruk was made available through IOS and Android.
