One of the largest shopping centers in Cedar Park was recently acquired for the amount of $39.1 million by Retail Properties of America Inc. The real estate investment trust company is based in Chicago.
The acquired Cedar Park Town Center is located at 4601 U.S. Highway 183A. It was previously owned by Houston-based firm, Ainbinder Co.
Retail Properties of America Inc. now owns three shopping centers in Austin including Rivery Towne Crossing and Shops at Forest Commons.
The property was built in the year 2004. It measures 181,000 square feet with major tenants like Chipotle, At Home and BJ’s Brewhouse.
