Last March, Kathleen Baireuther was appointed as executive director of CleanTX Foundation Inc. As she embraces her new role, Baireuther is formulating three-year strategic plans for CleanTX. These plans are generally in line with the foundation’s goal for Central Texas to capitalize on smart grid technology.
Baireuther succeeded the position left by Andrea Ricarte who is now working as director of special projects in CognitiveScale Inc. Aside from a role in CleanTX, Baireuther also serves as assistant director of the clean energy division of Austin Technology Incubator. ATI aims to establish Austin as one of the nationwide operating cleantech hubs.
