Cypress Real Estate Advisors is planning another mixed-use project located at 6601 Burnet Road in Austin, Tx. The new site which will be called Burnet Marketplace will sit on 3.9 acres and have 345 apartment units (4-5 stories total) and 12,000 sf of retail space. Expected completion should be in late 2014.
Pour House Pub which currently sits at 6701 Burnet Rd will shut down as that property was part of the acquisition. After the project is completed they plan on leasing 3,000 sf of the available retail space.
Cypress is currently one of the most active multifamily developers as they have a few other projects in the works: Sabine which will be located at the old Concordia University site in Downtown Austin and Corazon located on East 6th street.
