Since Texas is now experiencing decrease in number of oil rigs as well as decline in oil prices, the number of jobs in the state has been affected.
Based on the reports, three of the biggest oil field firms in Houston have cut a total of 40,000 jobs in the last six months. Fortunately, the other sectors have brought jobs in Texas this 2015.
Beyond, a portal for job seekers and employers, reported that most jobs came from the health care, transportation/logistics and information technology. Jobseekers will most likely get a job in Austin, Dallas, Waco, San Antonio and Victoria.
