New investors are now assessing Austin-based businesses as Dubai investors from Safanad group are now becoming involved with Aspen Heights, known for their student housing projects. Currently, Aspen Heights is working on expanding their operations and enter into other industries such as multifamily housing projects.
Safanad had made a $400 million equity deal with Aspen, ensuring partnership between both companies. According to the CEO of Aspen, the investment from Safanad would enable the company to expand and open new opportunities for Aspen to go to other housing projects around the country. So far, Aspen is working on 20 college towns close to universities and colleges in the country.
