Endeavor Real Estate Group has been picked by the Cox family to redevelop the location of the Austin American Statesman. Located at 305 S Congress this site is one of the most sought after properties in downtown Austin. The site is 18.9 acres and sits on the south shore of Lady Bird Lake. It was recently valued at $62 million by TCAD (Travis County Appraisal District).
The Cox family purchased the property in December 2015 from their company Cox Enterprises. They were very detailed and thoroughly evaluated developers for this site. They interviewed multiple developers but ended up choosing Endeavor to redevelop this dense mixed use area.
