In an effort to consolidate and cut down on real estate costs Freescale Simiconductor Ltd is planning on vacating it’s Northwest Austin office located at 7700 West Parmer Lane and relocating the employees (believed to be several hundred) to their Oak Hill office. Most of the employees who will be relocating include engineers, software developers, and marketing and sales.
The Oak Hill campus loacted at 6501 W William Cannon Drive is currently being underutilized so this move makes sense. Company officials have plans to renovate the office there to make it more open, collaborative, and efficient.
