Google to Lease Office Space in the Former Downtown Children’s Museum

Google has recently committed to leasing office space at the former Austin Children’s Museum in downtown Austin.  The site which is located on 201 Colorado St is approximately 22,000 sf.  Kelly Mason, Google spokeswoman has confirmed this however declined to give details on when they would move in.

The building was built in 1922 and has been vacant since 2013 when the Childrens Museum (now called The Thinkery) relocated to the Mueller development.

Google has also leased 2 floors at the University Park Office located at 3300 N I 35.
