With Austin slowly growing in population and causes rental fees in the city to increase, experts analyzed that leasing prices are actually quite affordable than those from other parts of the US. This conclusion is seen in the year ender report of research and online rental firm Apartment List, citing that Austin currently has a median price average for a two-bedroom unit lease to reach only $1,080. In other parts of the country, the leasing price can reach up to $3,500. The survey indicated that many participants from Austin hope to buy the units they are renting in the future but this may prove difficult due to the supply. Currently, the lowest rents in the country are in Toledo,Ohio with only $450 for a two-bedroom unit.
