In 1998, David Smith and his friend Clayton Christopher established Sweet Leaf Tea. But the duo sold the company to Nestle Waters North America Inc. in 2011.
After launching the High Brew Coffee in 2013, David Smith is urging the former employees of Sweet Leaf Tea to join him in his new business venture. The cold coffee drink maker plans to expand its non-alcoholic market.
Currently, the High Brew Coffee has 19 employees and targets to reach 50 to 100 personnel in the near future. It received $4.4 million funds last week from 33 investors according to the reports.
