According to an article in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram officials are looking into the possibility of connecting Fort Worth to Austin. The commission’s vote was unanimous to seek funding to study the possible route.
The line mentioned above is completely separate from the high speed line from Dallas to Houston….. which is definitely going to happen. That one could be operating by 2021 and only have 1 stop between the two cities. The rail stops will be at Union Station in Downtown Dallas, Bryan-college station, and then Houston.
