Central Texas would be busy in the next couple of months as the organizers of the Texas-China Investment Summit held in Austin announced that a whopping $300 million worth of investments will flock the region. Angelou Economics COO David Wallace said that five local projects have signed with a lone Chinese investor which is roughly around $300 million all in all. No details regarding the projects were released, but Wallace said that these are not the only projects in discussion as several others are under negotiations. This year’s summit aimed to introduce to the Chinese entrepreneurs the various projects in Austin which are looking for funding.
