Based on the federal filings made last March 30, four startup companies in Austin were able to raise funds.
WP Engine Inc., a company that offers web hosting and maintenance services, raised $23 million from North Bridge Growth Equity. Meanwhile, eyeQ received $1.2 million as initial investment. eyeQ provides retail insights to its client by analyzing customer behavior and demographics.
On the other hand, software developer Noesis Energy was able to collect $5 million from two investors, half of its $10 million target. Last but not the least, Aegela Biotherapeutics Inc. had already accomplished its $44 million Series B funding.
