Another downtown Austin office building project has been announced at the corner of West 5th and Colorado St.! Lincoln Property, a Dallas based commercial real estate company has announced that they will build a 9 story, 179,000 sf office building in Downtown Austin that will included 6,000 sf of retail space. This comes at a time that office vacancy rates are decreasing and office rental rates are increasing. They have not filed for permits yet however think they can complete the project sometime in 2015 or early 2016.
The site currently has Austin food trailers renting space however just like in Soco, they will soon have to leave.
