Medifast, a company that sells weight loss related products and programs, continues its vision for expansion as it sold another weight control center in Austin to Medix, a Mexican developer that specializes on obesity treatments. The new Medifast Weight Control Center is Medix’s fourth branch in Austin in addition to its already five Medifast centers in Miami, seven in Texas and three in San Antonio.
Medifast which was based in Maryland distribute their products via: call centers, personal coaching divisions, weight control centers and linkages with physicians. Meanwhile, Medix aims to establish their name and reputation in the U.S. market.
