Names to know in Austin real estate: RECA’s award winners

Civic leaders and commercial brokers were invited at the Real Estate Council of Austin’s annual luncheon and presentation of winners. Here is the summary of the event:

1. Rising Star Award was given to Chico Parker who is from Cazador Properties LLC.
2. The Gary S. Farmer Award was given to McLean & Howard LLP.
3. The Community Service Award was given to Mayor Lee Leffingwell.

RECA also announced in formality the new board chairman of the company, Michael Cooper. He will be replacing KC Willis in that position. RECA also awarded an amount of $40,000 to Hill Country Conservancy.
